Inclined Hole Machining

Inclined Hole Machining

An inclined hole is defined as a hole whose axis deviates at a certain angle from the part's axis. Machining such holes presents several challenges:
1.Unbalanced cutting forces – The drill bit engages the workpiece on one side only, pushing the bit sideways and causing deflection or slipping.
2.Position deviation – The drilled hole easily deviates from the required position.
3.Damaged hole entrance – The entrance edge becomes torn, compromising surface flatness.
4.Tool breakage – The drill bit is prone to chipping or fracturing during machining.
WELLTECH uses custom CNC equipment for inclined holes and specially designed fixtures to achieve high-precision spatial inclined hole machining.
Specifications:
Angle range: up to ±90°
