Deep Hole Drilling Eccentric Hole

Eccentric holes are holes in which the axis deviates from that of the part. Therefore, the machining of eccentric holes cannot be performed using conventional deep hole drilling methods. Peanut holes refer to special deep holes formed by overlapping two eccentric holes. After continuous research and testing, optimization of the machining process, design of special tooling and special toolsthe machining of slender eccentric holes and peanut holes has been achieved. It can process the inner hole diameter φ25-250mm, maximum depth 10m, and the difference of eccentricity accuracy ≤±0.05mm.
